Logistics company equips fleet with another 7,000 GPS units.
Schaffhausen and Zug, 09 February 2021 +++ The TRANSWAGGON Group , headquartered in Zug, Switzerland, continues to drive forward the digitalization of its fleet – and is equipping a total of 13,500 freight cars with devices from SAVVY® Telematic Systems. TRANSWAGGON is thus extending its cooperation with the provider of telematics and sensor solutions.
Shipping liquid goods that have to be maintained at a certain temperature are a logistics challenge. To monitor temperature-controlled shipments, logistics companies use transport telematics.
Sensors continuously measure the temperature of the liquid goods. If there is a critical deviation, drivers receive an alarm notification by radio and can respond accordingly. Transport specialist RINNEN has now gained an even more precise overview of its liquid goods thanks to an innovative SAVVY® Telematic Systems solution.
